“...Writing keeps me in touch with my emotions and keeps me honest, if not sane. a person who loves to write learns to respect the immense power of words and symbols.”
“It is hard to be dishonest with just you and a blank screen or a piece of white paper. To lie to yourself using words that you have chosen in the sanctuary of your mind is both sinful and pathetic. Writing makes discipline out of weaving thoughts into messages. There are of course those who use this delightful skill to promote a false idea or pretend to be the intellectuals that they long to be. by doing so, they lose the pleasure that goes with writing honestly and with meaning.”

the mounting is high and we can’t go on.
we heed on things we don’t know why
the path is of winding road
the end is yet for us to see
our feet are tired, our bodies worn
we sweat profusely
the dusty road we trail upon
is what had others traveled on
the path is of winding raod
the end is yet for us to see
and so we trail this dusty road
through it all we’ll find soon
the eluding end we search long...
